The following tutorial shows how to install the Free Flow Addon on the latest version of Kodi.

Free Flow is a ‘non-debrid’ Kodi add-on that we found inside the ‘Red Repo’ while we were testing the newly revived Genesis add-on.

This add-on provides one-click play for free movies and TV shows without the need of a premium debrid service. This means services like Real-Debrid or TorBox are not necessary to stream content.

But keep in mind that most non-debrid add-ons are filled with unreliable streaming links, have lower quality playback, and can often buffer.

In the tutorial below we are using an Onn 4K Plus to install the Free Flow add-on. These same steps also work for those using Fire TVs, Android TV/Google TV boxes, and any device compatible with the Kodi software.

How to Install Free Flow Kodi Addon

• Launch Kodi
• Click the settings icon  

• Hover over Add-ons menu item and turn on Unknown sources if not already on

• Click back on remote to go back to the System page
• Select File Manager

• Type the following URL exactly how it is listed here – https://repo.redwizard.xyz and click OK

• Type “repo” or any other name you would like to identify this source as and click OK

• Click the back button on your remote until you are on the System screen. Then click Add-ons

• Click Install from zip file

• Select “repo” or whatever you named the media source in the previous step

• Click the zip file URL – repository.redwizard.zip

• Wait for the “Red Repo Add-on installed” message to appear

• Then click Install from repository

• Locate Free Flow and click it

• Wait a few seconds for the Free Flow Add-on installed message to appear

• Then go back to the Home screen of Kodi and select Add-ons, then choose Free Flow.

• Read the add-on’s change log if you prefer or click Close.

• You have successfully installed the Free Flow add-on!

Free Flow Add-on Categories & Details

The Free Flow add-on is simple and offers only a few categories that include New Releases, Weekly New Episodes, Complete Shows, New Movie Releases, Documentaries, and more.

While one-click play is a convenient feature and works well, we prefer having the option to integrate debrid services for higher-quality streams. Unfortunately there is no option to do that within this add-on and there are also no settings we can customize.

What We Like

• Completely free with no debrid account required to stream content
• One-click playback makes streaming super convenient
• Simple layout with nice categories like Weekly New Episodes and Complete Shows
• Same Red Repo also hosts SALTS and Genesis if users want more variety
• Documentaries category is unusual on lightweight free add-ons
• Quick install through the standard repository workflow

What We Don’t Like

• Third-party source with no verified licensing for the content
• VirusTotal flagged one questionable file in the repository URL
• No debrid integration so subscribers are better off with premium options like Umbrella
• No settings menu means users can’t customize anything inside the add-on
• Free one-click links produce hit-or-miss quality and can buffer
• Older Kodi versions may experience errors

Is The Free Flow Addon Legal?

It’s impossible for TROYPOINT to determine whether these unverified add-ons like ‘Free Flow’ hold the proper licensing.

Is it Safe to Use?

Before using this add-on it is important to scan their repository URL with VirusTotal. Here is the screenshot of the scan results.

VirusTotal found one suspicious file with viruses/malware within The Red Repo URL. We should always protect ourselves with a VPN when streaming content from unverified 3rd party add-ons.
