The following tutorial shows how to install the SALTS Addon on the latest version of Kodi.

SALTS is a new, premium Kodi add-on from the Red Repository that offers movies, TV shows, 24/7 channels, and other on-demand content.

While there are some free sources available, this add-on works best when paired with premium debrid services like Real-Debrid, Premiumize, TorBox, etc. We provide instructions for debrid service integration following the installation steps.

In the tutorial below we are using an Amazon Firestick 4K Max to install the SALTS add-on. These same steps also work for those using Fire TVs, Android TV/Google TV boxes, and any device compatible with the Kodi software.

How to Install SALTS Kodi Addon

• Launch Kodi
• Click the settings icon  

• Hover over Add-ons menu item and turn on Unknown sources if not already on

• Click back on remote to go back to the System page
• Select File Manager

• Type the following URL exactly how it is listed here – https://repo.redwizard.xyz and click OK

• Type “repo” or any other name you would like to identify this source as and click OK

• Click the back button on your remote until you are on the System screen. Then click Add-ons

• Click Install from zip file

• Select “repo” or whatever you named the media source in the previous step

• Click the zip file URL – repository.redwizard.zip

• Wait for the “The Red Repo Add-on installed” message to appear

• Next click Install from repository

• Scroll down and select Video add-ons

• Select SALTS – Stream All The Sources

• Wait a minute or two for the add-on to fully install

• Then go back to the Home screen of Kodi and select Add-ons, then choose SALTS

• You have successfully installed the SALTS add-on!

Installation is now complete but we are not done yet. As noted above, users must integrate a premium debrid service which we provide instructions for below.

How to Pair Debrid Services

In order to stream content from SALTS, we must first authorize a debrid service. In this example we are pairing our Real-Debrid account but this process will also work for Premiumize, TorBox, and others.

1. From the main menu, choose Settings.

2. Hover over Debrid Services on the left menu and toggle on the service you want to pair. In this instance we toggled on Real-Debrid and TorBox. Then click OK.

3. Return back to the home menu of SALTS and click Debrid Services.

4. Click the debrid service you want to pair. We are using Real-Debrid in this example.

5. You are then provided with a Real-Debrid authorization code.

6. Visit real-debrid.com/device and enter the provided code from the previous step. Then click Continue.

7. You should then see a success message.

8. Return to Kodi and you should notice a ‘Real-Debrid Authorization successful’ message.

As you may notice after installing, the SALTS add-on works very well on almost any Kodi device after you’ve integrated a debrid service.

There are several categories available which include Movies, TV Shows, 24/7 Channels, Favorites, AI Search, Trakt, Scrapers, Tools, Settings, and more.

Is The SALTS Addon Legal?

VirusTotal found one suspicious file within the SALTS repository URL containing viruses/malware. We should always protect ourselves when streaming content from unverified 3rd party add-ons.
