Walmart appears ready to release an updated version of its popular streaming device, the Onn 4K Pro.

Recent leaks and reports point to a refreshed model that closely resembles other Google TV devices while keeping the budget-friendly appeal that made the original so popular.
Early details suggest this new version, often referred to as the Onn 4K Pro V2, will bring small but meaningful changes rather than a complete overhaul. For cord-cutters and Firestick users looking for alternatives, this device may become another strong option.
Images from recent leaks show a device that looks almost identical to the popular Google TV Streamer. Leaked photos show a pill/oval shape design with various ports on the back of the device for HDMI, LAN, and more.

This includes what appears to be a microphone toggle as well as a USB-A port which we do not see in the Google TV Streamer.

On the bottom are rubber grip strips as well as a reset button.

This design shift suggests Walmart is leaning more into the Google TV experience rather than trying something unique.
Reports indicate that the new model will include updates from the original Onn 4K Pro, though nothing groundbreaking. Expect performance improvements that focus on smoother navigation and faster app loading.
This aligns with Walmart’s approach—offer solid performance at a lower cost rather than chasing high-end specs.
While full specs are not confirmed, leaks suggest similar memory configurations to the current version.
Here is what it will likely include:

One of the main reasons the original Onn 4K Pro gained traction was its low price. That trend is expected to continue with this updated version.
Recently, prices for the Onn 4K Plus have increased at various locations throughout the US as well as on the official Walmart website. Originally listed at $29.88, many are now seeing it available for $39.88 which was an indicator of a potential new device.
With the Onn 4K Pro listed at $49.88, we expect the new V2 model to be priced somewhere in the $60 range.

Onn 4K Pro vs Onn 4K Plus – Which Device is Better?
Walmart’s lineup of Onn streaming boxes has quickly become the go to option for cord-cutters who prefer high quality streaming with a friendly price tag.
As Amazon continues to block apps on Firestick and Fire TV as well as impose restrictions on these devices overall, many are looking for alternatives to install 3rd party apps and more.
The Onn 4K Pro has been a stand out option when it comes to Android/Google TV Boxes and that is becuase these devices perform extremely well without breaking the bank.
We are extremely excited to see Walmart’s new version of the Onn 4K Pro and have high hopes for this device as it’s predecessors have been strong performing media boxes.
The familiar design, expected performance boost, and low price point make it a device worth keeping an eye on.
