Walmart has quietly rolled out the new Onn 4K Pro 2026, also referred to as the V2 model, across various stores throughout the US.
This new version builds on the success of the previous Onn 4K Pro, which quickly became one of the most notable Google TV Boxes available. Early impressions show noticeable improvements in speed and responsiveness but come with a new, higher price tag.
Early reports of the Onn 4K Pro 2026 first surfaced on Reddit, where users shared photos of the device appearing on store shelves ahead of any official announcement.
It appears that Walmart is slowly rolling out the latest Onn 4K Pro device, with only certain locations offering it in stock.
This comes just weeks after the new Onn 4K Streaming Stick was quietly released in stores.
We found a product page for the new version, pictured below, but were only able to see it when we set our location to the Ventura, CA store.
As expected, the new device features a “pill-like” shape, similar to the Google TV Streamer with a mesh wrap that appears to be available in both black and silver.
The new Onn 4K Pro is officially listed at $59.88. This is a new price range for the Onn lineup, as the first Onn 4K Pro was originally available for $48.88 and the Onn 4K Plus is priced at $39.88.
If you’re interested in picking one up, your best bet right now is to check your local Walmart store as availability appears to vary by location.
Many users are eager to see what upgrades the Onn 4K Pro 2026 brings to the table. Early details suggest improved performance but with some lacking qualities as well.

That flexibility continues to be one of the biggest reasons people choose Onn devices over locked-down alternatives.
One of the more surprising changes in this model is the switch from USB 3.0 to USB 2.0. On paper, this may not seem like a major issue. However, USB 3.0 offers much higher data transfer speeds, which can impact how well external accessories perform.
For basic streaming, this change likely won’t matter. Most users rely on Wi-Fi and internal storage, so everyday performance remains solid.
However, those who customize their setup with external storage or run media libraries may find this limitation frustrating.

Our friends at AFTVNews have already run benchmark tests on both the 2nd Gen Onn 4K Pro and the new Onn 4K Stick.
Results show the updated Pro model outperforming all current Google TV devices, including the Google TV Streamer which is priced at $79.99.
There has been tons of anticipation for the release of the Onn 4K Pro 2 and we are happy to see it is finally available for purchase (if you can find it).
While many of the specs are similar to the previous model, the benchmark tests and improved processor appear to be a major upgrade for overall performance.
The updated price is also worth noting, as the 2026 Onn 4K Pro is harder to classify as a “budget” device at $60, though many users will still see strong value for the money.
