The following tutorial shows how to install the Red Light Addon on the latest version of Kodi.

Red Light is a brand new Kodi add-on from The Repo Repo and a clone of FEN Light, which has had several issues recently.
This option does require a premium debrid service and the installation of external scrapers to access content. This means a service like TorBox, Real-Debrid, Premiumize, etc. is required and we show how to set this all up below.
Although a debrid service is required, we were very impressed with this add-on after testing!
In the tutorial below we are using an Onn 4K Plus to install the Red Light add-on. These same steps also work for those using Fire TVs, Android TV/Google TV boxes, and any device compatible with the Kodi software.

Installation is now complete and continue reading below for integrating debrid services.
In this example we are integrating TorBox but this process will also work for any debrid service like Real-Debrid, Premiumize, and more.
1. From the main menu of the Red Light add-on, scroll down and click Tools.

2. Click Settings.

3. Hover over Sources Accounts and toggle on Enable under External Scrapers.

4. Then click Choose External Scrapers Module.

5. Select Gears Scrapers from the list since we installed this earlier.

6. Click OK.

7. Now you can authorize debrid services. Under TorBox click Authorize.

8. Next you will need your TorBox API key. To get this you must log into your TorBox account settings and click Copy API Key on the very bottom.

9. Return back to Kodi and enter your TorBox API Key and click OK.

10. You should then receive a Success message and click OK.

The Red Light add-on is simple and offers categories that include Movies, TV Shows, Anime, People, Discover, Random Lists, My Services, Tools, and more.

Here’s what our testing revealed about the long-standing ‘Red Light’ add-on:
It’s impossible for TROYPOINT to determine whether these unverified add-ons like ‘Red Light’ hold the proper licensing.
TROYPOINT recommends only accessing media not protected by copyright such as those that fall under Public Domain status.
The end-user is responsible for all content accessed through unverified add-ons/apps/websites. For verified options, see our list of legal streaming apps.
Before using this add-on it is important to scan their repository URL with VirusTotal. Here is the screenshot of the scan results.

VirusTotal found one suspicious file with viruses/malware within The Red Repo URL. We should always protect ourselves with a VPN when streaming content from unverified 3rd party add-ons.
A VPN will provide you with an anonymous connection while using questionable add-ons such as this. See our VPN on Firestick tutorial for more information.
