A new update to popular MECOOL devices is bringing the Android 14 Operating System to the Km2, KM2 Plus Deluxe, and more.

The company announced the rollout in a press release back in September of this year, however, it was a slow rollout that is just now arriving to the majority of devices.

The KM2 and KM2 Plus Deluxe are the first in MECOOL’s lineup to receive this update with all boxes expected to receive it by the end of 2025.

This includes the Ks3, KM9PRO Max, and the popular KD3 Android TV Stick that currently runs on the Android 11 Operating System.

It is important to note that once you upgrade your device (if it hasn’t already), you can not revert back so make sure you wish to have this update before installing.

Unlike other “official” Android/Google TV Boxes, users oftentimes need to manually install these downloads and you can typically do so from the manufacturer’s website.
