The following guide shows how to install PlayFy TV on Firestick, Android TV, and any other device.
PlayFy TV is a live streaming app that provides access to live sports streams and hundreds of channels without a paid subscription. At first glance this appears to be a clone of the SportzX app.
This app is somewhat popular around the world and makes a great alternative for those not using live TV services or expensive cable packages. Inside this app you will find live streams for soccer, basketball, baseball, football, cricket, and so much more.
Since these streams are often retrieved from free sports websites, playback will sometimes buffer and come in standard definition (SD) quality.
Since this APK is not available in popular app stores like Amazon or Google Play, we must side-load this app on our device.
Below we provide instructions for installing this app on an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K, but this process will also work for Fire TV and Android TV/Google TV devices.
1. First install the Downloader App on your device. If you haven’t done this, refer to our Downloader tutorial.
2. Launch Downloader and hover over the URL Bar and click the select button on your remote.
3. Type the code 8976587 and click Go. (This is the Downloader Code for PlayFy TV)
4. Wait for the file to download.
5. Then click Install.
6. Click Open.
7. Wait a few seconds for the application to launch.
8. You have successfully installed the PlayFy TV app on your device.

In addition to live streams, the PlayFy TV app provides tons of categories to choose from. Click the “Categories” tab on top and you will find options for Sports, News, Entertainment, and International content.
When clicking into one of the categories you will find a massive channel selection. After testing we found that not all of these are working, but most of them are.
There is also a ‘Highlights’ tab that offers highlights from recent matches.
There is also a menu you can navigate through on the left-hand side for adding M3U playlists, support, and other features.
There is no way for TROYPOINT to determine whether an unverified streaming app, service, or add-on holds the proper licensing.
At first glance, it appears this app may be distributing copyrighted content without the proper licensing.
We only recommend using legal streaming apps to view both live and on-demand content. Ultimately, the end-user is responsible for content accessed within this unverified app.
