The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) announced the arrest of IPTV66 operators following a major law enforcement operation in the Dominican Republic.

The arrests came after ACE filed a criminal referral against the Latin American IPTV streaming service.

Dominican Republic authorities, including the Department of Investigation of High Technology Crimes (DICAT)

and Special Department of Transnational Crime Investigations (DEIDET), executed the operation.

IPTV66 Operation Uncovered

Investigators discovered that IPTV66 operators generated approximately $10 million in cryptocurrency over four years. The illegal profits funded significant real estate purchases, including property acquisitions throughout the region.

Authorities seized evidence from a 10-story office building in Santo Domingo that was exclusively occupied by the IPTV66 operators. They also raided a large ranch located outside the city as part of the investigation.

Law Enforcement Collaboration Praised

MPA’s Executive Vice President and Chief Content Protection Officer, Larissa Knapp, praised the international cooperation. She stated the following:

“This case is a testament to the power of strategic partnerships with local and global law enforcement in detecting, deterring and dismantling digital piracy. I commend our partners with the HSI, FBI, DEA and all of the law enforcement authorities of the Dominican Republic for their commitment to protecting copyright and ensuring bad actors face consequences for their crimes.”

The extensive nature of IPTV66’s illegal streaming service means operators could face charges beyond standard copyright infringement violations.

IPTV66 Website is Still Online?

Despite the arrests, the IPTV66 website continues appearing in Google search results and remains accessible online.

While we can’t confirm whether this is the ‘official’ IPTV66 website, this still contradicts typical patterns following major IPTV busts, where sites usually go offline immediately.

After further research we discovered the IPTV66 operation runs a support forum called ‘IPTVTalk’ that also remains online after these arrests were made.

Final Thoughts

The IPTV66 case demonstrates how international cooperation can target large-scale streaming operations.

However, the service’s continued online presence despite operator arrests highlights the complex nature of shutting down distributed illegal streaming networks.

Users should remain cautious about accessing services that may still be operating under investigation.
